According to industry sources, as of 2021 there are well over 10 million digital nomads and remote workers operating in the U.S. and around the world.

Research completed by MBO Partners concluded that “4.8 million independent workers currently describe

themselves as digital nomads (in the United States}.” That number grows exponentially when you consider all of the countries and cities around the globe. Some experts estimate tens of millions worldwide.
